Visiting Mumbai I wanted to photograph somewhere a little different, & learning about Dhobi Ghat I knew I had to visit and not just view it from the platform like most tourists. The largest outdoor laundry in the world, around 200 intergenerational families live and work here day and night cleaning linen & clothes from around Mumbai.
