Tea is big business in Sri Lanka. At Herman Teas they specialise in “virgin white tea”, which during picking is only handled with gold scissors & gloved hands. On the rest of the estate, the workers pluck by hand, paid by weight, they work in the hot sun to carry as much as they can.
